Hj Mohamed Fauzy

Born in Kota Bharu, Kelantan on the 22nd of July 1946, Haji Fauzy received his early education at Sultan Ismail College, Kota Bharu and completed his secondary education at the Methodist Boys’ Secondary School in Kuala Lumpur. In 1974, he attended the inaugural Executive Development Programme (EDP) at MARA Institute Of Technology (ITM), Shah Alam. He built his career with Nestle Malaysia Sdn Bhd for 13 years, working his way up to Regional Sales Executive. In 1977, Nestle’s Entrepreneur Programme for Bumiputra Dealership was introduced, so he took up the challenge of setting up Perdagangan Mofaz Sdn Bhd (now known as Mofaz Direct SA Sdn. Bhd.), his first platform for entrepreneurship. He then grew this business rapidly and became one of Malaysia’s largest Nestle distributors.
