MOFAZ Acquires Anti-Epidemic Intelligent Technology for Health Security

KUALA LUMPUR, 9 MAY 2020 – Through the realisation of the current need for sanitisation within industries, MOFAZ Group has now introduced a digital solution in the field of protective equipment and disinfection to rid of undesired contaminants, especially for the fight against the COVID-19 virus. (AHCE), a subsidiary fully owned by MOFAZ Group has been appointed by HAIER International to be the authorised distributor for a sanitisation device known as Intelligent Temperature Measurement and Sterilisation Channel (ITMSC) (sales & after sales service) and HAIER anti-epidemic products. MOFAZ together with HAIER is committed to utilising state-of-the-art technologies and implementing them in sanitisation procedures for human disinfection especially at point of entry of commercial and manufacturing facilities.

HAIER is one of the world’s leading manufacturer’s of household appliances with a focus on smart home solutions and customised mass production. In crisis situations of the healthcare system, HAIER has developed a mobile gate, ITMSC for temperature measurement and disinfection. The state of the art ITMSC is a 6th generation HAIER product development. ITMSC is an integrated corridor-like chamber that uses infrared non-contact temperature measurement, automated sanitisation dispenser and disinfection area. This device provides collection of facial recognition for big data application. It is equipped with voice response, guide on temperature readings and alert on high temperature readings.

The sterilisation chamber uses an Eco-friendly and non-toxic liquid substance antibacterial solution. The effective components of the solution include hypochlorite from a combination of plant extracts such as pine needle extract, Yunshan wood extract, cypress wood extract, cactus extract and purified water. This product has the capability to kill intestinal pathogenic bacteria, pyogenic cocci and pathogenic yeast. Hypochlorite, which is the same as that of human leukocyte sterilisation, destroys the cell wall of bacteria and virus, and it is very stable. The Ministry of health, labour and welfare of Japan have recognised the slightly acidic hypochlorite water as a food additive class bactericide in 2002. It is very safe because it can be reduced to water after contact with microorganisms and organics. Moreover, because the concentration of hypochlorite component is low, it can be decomposed rapidly after use, and it will not produce residues, so it is harmless to the environment and human body. It has good bactericidal ability to all kinds of microorganisms in 10 seconds. Due to neutrality of the antibacterial liquid, which can not only kill bacteria but also keep the skin delicate unlike other chemical sanitisation products that can often make skin rough and dry or have adverse side effects.
